Patriotism

I was asked yesterday "What is patriotism and does it even matter?". My response was as follows. If you ask me, patriotism is standing up for what you believe in. Its all about showing that you care about what ever it is that you think is right. For many people in this time, patriotism is all they have left and all that matters to them.

    Harrison, one thing, are you patriotic? Do you love out country? Would you risk you life to save it?. because if you answer all of those questions as yes, then picture your self in a war getting killed because you are trying to save our country. And if then you say yes, the you are truly patriotic.

    this piece is short but truly said something and means it this is a piece that woulddo great as an essy. also to be a true patriotic you don't need to go and died in war.
